I didn’t discover the Beastie Boys until the early 90′s when I was at my most muscially impressionable age of 15.

Today I learnt that Adam Yauch – MCA of the Beastie Boys died after a lengthy battle with salivary cancer.

RIP Adam. Your music was and always will be on the soundtrack to my youth.
