Do you remember this?
I saw this movie on my first date! I was just a kid and I loved this movie so much and particularly this scene. I made it my ultimate goal in life to have a big piano on the floor in my future home.
I haven’t quite gotten to the full size built in piano of my dreams yet, but I did just buy a Zippy Mat Gigantic Keyboard from OO.com.au and I LOVE it.
It has ten demo songs, so you can pretend you can play realllly well to impress guests and it has eight different instrument sounds you can chose from, so you can play Fur Elise on guitar or November Rain on accordion if the mood strikes.
The only thing I don’t like is that the default volume is LOUD, so every time it turns on it’s with a burst of loud piano keys and you have to be quick footed on the volume buttons to shush it to a more acceptable level. My kids think this is hilarious.
The kids love to run the length of it on their toes, hitting every key as fast as possible. They also like to lie on it.
The lovely people at OO.com.au gave me the $50 it cost to buy it and have it shipped to me. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived on the Monday. Pretty good eh?
But I’m not just writing this to rub my awesome giant piano in your face, I am giving you the chance to win your own $50 to spend online with OO.com.au
Tell me in the comments below what you think is the best thing about online shopping and my favourite answer will win the $AUD50 voucher code.
- OO.com.au ships to both Australia and New Zealand so this giveaway is open to both countries. Shipping to NZ may attract a higher shipping cost. The voucher will still be to the value of $50 Aussie though. I have used OO.com.au before to send gifts to the rellies. Sweet as bro.
- Entries close on Wednesday 31st October. The winner will be announced on Thursday 1st November and emailed the super secret code to use at the checkout to get the $50.
- One entry per person please
Disclaimer: OO.com.au gave me one $50 voucher code to use for myself and one to giveaway to one of you lovely people. All opinions are my own and I really do like the giant keyboard. I am more than happy to spruik the services of OO.com.au because I truly honestly use their services with my own money from time to time.

When my children are driving me batty,
And I’m totally stressed to the max,
Online shopping is the perfect solution,
I escape to the computer, shop and relax!
I love how I can ‘escape’ and go shopping at any time without actually leaving the house!
No long lines & who doesnt love shopping in your pjs, im flannel pj mad.
The best thing about online shopping is not having to find a parking space for your car and not having to leave your house!!
the best thing about online shopping is,
I can shop at any store ,any city, any country,
anytime, day or night
Looks like awesome fun!! I’m especially enjoying online shopping in my current state… 35 weeks pregnant, and yes I’m gonna say it Christmas fast approaching, online shopping is my best friend!
Does anyone actually enjoy dragging kids around the shops? It always starts off fun, then 15 or so minutes in cue the crying and whinging. My 5 year old complains she’s tired from walking and wants to get in the trolley, then she’s uncomfortable and has to get back out, her feet hurt, it’s too hot, it’s too cold, why couldn’t she have 6 boxes of cereal, it’s never ending. All this while my 6 month girl old pulls my 2 year old’s hair and he’s having a meltdown because we’ve walked past the bananas and he can’t eat one RIGHT NOW! haha. The same goes for other shops, just substitute the cereal and bananas in the story for DVD’s and toys.
Online shopping is great, you can shop while they’re sleeping and actually take time in choosing what you want. Even if you do it during the day the kids can attempt to kill each other out of public view at least! It’s such a time, energy and sanity saver for me!
I can watch tv, sip my tea and shop all at the one time. Heaven.
With online shopping I have a world of choices at my finger tips.
I could, & do, browse for ages.
I love being able to buy products from practically anywhere.
Bargain hunting at its best.
The best thing about online shopping is kinda like the best thing about watching a DVD at home. I can pause it at a moments notice if I need to go to the loo! Try doing that at the shopping centre with a trolley full of food and a toddler in tow!
I love that I dont have to take my husband shopping (taking the kids is easy by comparisson!), he wants to buy whatever he sees, this way he doesnt get to see anything!
This comment made me smile every time I read it. Maybe because I relate so well.
This is the winning comment. $50 code coming out to you Kim.
Thanks heaps!!
The best thing about online shopping is that I don’t have to listen to “Mum, can I have this?” and “Mum, can I have that?” every two minutes because I can shop when everyone is asleep.
In my dressing gown and on my phone,
I love to secretly shop alone.
So simple to browse before I buy,
so many great products for me to try!
The best thing about online shopping is that it makes making price comparisons so much easier. I know for a lot of people, myself included, every dollar counts. I love (and rely on) great bargains, and online shopping makes them more possible to find.
The best thing is:
I can shop from the comfort of my own home. I can be in bed wearing my PJs, with bed hair, and still make great use of dad’s credit card
The best thing about online shopping is that instead of having to deal with tantrums in every shop, be begged for junk like McDonalds, end up spending more because I buy them something to stop them whinging and then have to get into a hot car at the end of it all – I can do it from my lounge, in my PJ’s, for less than it costs in the shops + no hassles! Then I get to come home to a surprise package on my doorstep one day.
I have just discovered this new world of online shopping
It has scared me in the past
I have never been a happy shopper
Always end up in a daze
The traffic, the lights, the noise
Never ending sales.
Prices up and down
Always go home wearing a frown.
Now I know how to shop when I am in the mood
For books, clothes, toys or even food.
No parcels to carry or unpack
The friendly deliver man can carry a stack.
I am now saying ‘OO’ instead of ‘OUCH’
While my feet are resting comfortably on the couch!
Apart from the awesome online specials and the ability to shop without getting dressed, it definitely has to be the sense of importance as the deliver man arrives with my purchases. Now there’s a job that won’t be made redundant any time soon.
there are always awesome sales and it’s easy to compare with different pages unlike hiking to different stores
I live in the middle of nowhere land. If not for online shopping, I would be bored xxx-less! But then I would probably save a ton of money too, haha.
Pingback: Toys!!
No crazy toddler pulling everything of the shelves and running away from you. Its a calm enjoyable experience while the little angel sleeps
The best thing about online shopping, is the variety of shops, clothes, discounts, things that you can buy that you wouldn’t normally find at your local shop! You can buy gadgets and gizmos no one has heard of, and be original!
No kids.
There is nothing more to say!
The buzz of the computer warms my heart,
As I scan the shops on-line- it’s a work of art!
I sit and sip coffee while my little one’s asleep,
Using my spare time wisely while he is counting sheep!
No need to get dressed up to brave the shops,
No need to distract a crying toddler- it’s really tops!
When we go shopping he pulls everything off the shelf,
He also pulls shoes and socks off himself.
I am forever retracing the steps that I have taken,
Picking up what’s been dropped- becoming quite shaken.
The world of online shopping is a blessing for some,
Especially for this little first time Mum!
I work in retail and the last thing I want to do when I leave work is to Shop!! I can relax at home and find lots of amazing new and different products at a fraction of the price!! I love the diversity of online shopping – and I especially LOVE the postie bringing parcels!!
online shopping – where I can shop in my pjs!!!
I love shopping at midnight, the kids are in bed, I have the computer to myself and I can compare the prices at all the different places to find the best deal! Shopping online, isn’t shopping online without a deal!
The best thing about online shopping is avoiding the public transport crush, not having to carry your goods home, and being able to compare prices from a wide range of places.
Shopping online without having to drag 3 ASD children through endless department stores is a LIFE SAVER. That’s what I love about online shopping. My sanity.
