I love the conversations I have with my son. I love getting insights into how his mind works. This one took place while putting him to bed recently.

Me: Do you know how much I love you?
Millar:  No, what?
Me: From here, all around the world and back again.
Millar: All around the world? *circles his hands around and around* like zoomy zoomy zoom?
Me: Yep.
Millar: We would have to run really fast
Me: Haha ok
Millar: But I can only run on the footpath, not the road
Me: That’s right
Millar: Remember to follow me!
Me: Ok.
Millar: .. and then when we get to the roads and the cars come you can hold my hand.
Me: Sure thing dude.
Millar: ..and then we can run fast again and when we get to the movie theatre we win!!
Me: Okaaay
Millar: But I don’t know where the movies are… um we’ll need to take the car I think.
