i can relate to everything that was said. im still toilet training the 3 yr old. I think now she maybe getting it. This time last year she went to the toilet beautifully doing both wee and poo in the toilet. I had the baby in may and thats when it all fell apart. So my advise is dont start when there will be a major change in the childs life.
we had issues with Millar too. It was during a time of major change to our routine when I started working from home and when Xanthe started standing up. She was getting more attention than usual. It’s unsurprising that he regressed a little.
We just went back to what worked the first time and I also tried to spend some more time with him one on one. That helped a bit. Now he has accidents if he is distracted by playing, but that’s normal. Annoying but normal.
Hope it all clicks again for your girl.
We had such a hard time toilet training Erin. We thought we had it down when I was pregnant with Abi…until she pooped in our cupboard and wiped with an owl puppet.
It turns out that she has a sensory problem which means she can’t tell that she needs to go like other people do so we still have a lot of accidents and bed wetting.
Abi’s nearly two now as well, we’re planning to start toilet training her soon, but with it being nearly winter we’ll wait until it starts getting warmer.
PS. who did the paisley design for your site? Love it.
