This week I am happy that ebay exists.

Last year we bought two marquees for our wedding off ebay. We didn’t use them for our wedding because plans changed and we had the wedding inside.

This year – last week even, we listed the marquees on ebay and received a pretty good price for them. The buyers needed them for their wedding this weekend! I’m sure after the wedding they will sell them again on ebay.

I love ebay. There is something someone said about trash and treasure that is illustrated perfectly on ebay.
I look around my house and can see that it is mostly furnished from ebay and mostly at bargain prices. I have overpaid for a couple of things in the heat of the auction but have since learnt my lesson.
This week I will be selling more trash on ebay to treasure hunters. I will probably also be buying treasure from other people’s trash heaps. Gotta love it.
